A little more than a month since the promotion of its new model Sony Alpha a7S, Sony announced the price and availability of this mirrorless camera. The Alpha a7S is the first world full-frame camera which demonstrates the ability to read the information from the entire sensor so fast that it can output 4K 30p footage without resorting to line skipping or pixel binning.
Contrary to the models Sony a7 and Sony a7R, the Sony a7S does not support solely the AVCHD standard for video recording; rather it provides the services of the XAVC S system, which is characterized by bitrates of up to 50Mbps.
The body of the Sony Alpha a7S will be available on the market since July at a cost of $2,499.99.
