Sony announced a new mirrorless model Sony Alpha 3500 (a3500), which will be available only for the Australian market for the time being. This model is the continuation of the previous one, a3000, and it is identical with regard to its characteristics, apart from a new kit lens which accompanies it. This 18-50mm f/4.0-5.6 lens is considerably less extraordinary in comparison to the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom which made its appearance together with the a3000 owing to the fact that it is shorter, slower and it is deprived of image stabilization. The Sony Alpha 3500 will soon hit the stores and will be priced at AU$499.
The basic characteristics of the Sony Alpha 3500 are as follows:
20.1MP Exmor™ APS HD CMOS Sensor
ISO 16000 Sensitivity
Tru-Finder Electronic Viewfinder
Full HD Video
Auto Object Framing
