Sigma joined the February race by introducing one new lens and announcing the pricing of another, which has been introduced earlier. The new model is a Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art, and the price has been established for a Sigma 150-600mm f/5.0-6.3 DG OS HSM, which was announced at Photokina 2014.
The Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art, the latest member of Sigma's Art series, is a wide-angle lens with 15 elements in 11 groups, whereby the aspherical ones are positioned in the rear part of the lens, for the sake of better correction of flares and axial chromatic aberrations. This lens is designed for full-frame sensors, and it is intended for Canon, Nikon, and Sigma mounts. The new Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art will appear on the market next month, priced at $849.
The Sigma 150-600mm f/5.0-6.3 DG OS HSM, announced last September, aimed at Canon and Nikon full-frame bodies, will be available for sale also in March, at a price of $1089.
The news was taken from SIGMA.
