Complications with Nikon's flagship Nikon D750 yet again. After noticing in July last year that the Nikon D750 had certain problems with the shutter, Nikon's management have now arrived at the conclusion that this problem has been present in the D750 cameras for a much wider manufacturing period than it was previously thought.
At first, it was believed that this issue (where the shutter occasionally shades part of the image) occurred only in cameras produced between October and November 2014. However, the experts from this Japanese corporation have now determined that this irregularity has also taken place in models produced in the period from December 2014 to June 2015.
Along with an apology, Nikon has once again promised a free service for all cameras that have experienced the said complication. In order to find out whether your camera is among those that need to be serviced, it is necessary, like before, to check the serial number of your camera (which is located on the bottom) on Nikon's official website.
If the serial number of your D750 does not belong to the group of those affected by this problem, you should not worry at all, and you may continue using your camera without concern. In case your camera is one of those to which this issue may apply, Nikon's advice is to contact your nearest Nikon service center; they will keep your D750, and examine and repair the camera's shutter - of course, free of charge, even if the camera's warranty has expired.
