Samyang announced as many as five new manual focus lenses, one of which is an upgraded AE version of the Canon lens 35mm f/1.4 (now Samyang 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC), which, thanks to the AR chip, enables electronic aperture setting directly from the camera body.
Moreover, another of the introduced lenses is the Samyang Reflex 300mm f/6.3 UMC CS, which is a compact mirror lens aimed at APS-C SLR cameras, and as such, it will be compatible with the models Canon EOS, Nikon F, Sony Alpha and Four Thirds.
In addition, the world market will be enlarged by three cinema versions of existing photo lenses, which are as follows: a Samyang 10mm T3.1 for APS-C SLRs, a Samyang 12mm T2.2 for mirrorless cameras, and a Samyang 7.5mm T3.8 fisheye for Micro Four Thirds.
When these lenses will hit the streets and what they will be priced is yet to be declared.
