The Olympus PEN E-PL6, which arrived at the world scene in 2013, at the Asian market in particular, will 'spread' to the United Kingdom, in combination with the pancake-style zoom lens M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ and a Wi-Fi memory card.
This camera is characterized by the same 16MP Live MOS sensor and TruePic VI processor as its predecessor from 2012, Olympus PEN E-PL5. As far as the Olympus PEN E-PL6 is concerned, it will sell on the British Isles at a price of £429.99, starting from mid-July.
Instead of built-in Wi-Fi, which did not form a part of this model's features, the E-PL6 is compatible with Toshiba FlashAir Wi-Fi cards, which enable transferring images between the camera and a smartphone, not to mention remote control by means of the Olympus Image Share application. However, even though it has been announced that the E-PL6 will be accompanied with a said FlashAir SD card, the capacity of the card has not been specified.
