Nikon expanded its 'palette' of 1-System cameras by introducing another 'color' - the new compact mirrorless camera Nikon 1 S2.
This model has plenty to offer: a 14MP CMOS sensor with the maximum ISO value of 12,800, a hybrid auto-focus system, continuous shooting at as much as 20 fps, as well as Full HD video recording (1920 x 1080 with 60 fps). In addition, the S2 optionally can be combined with the WU-1a wireless mobile adapter, which enables Wi-Fi connectivity and uses microSD memory cards.
The Nikon 1 S2, in combination with the 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, will be on sale in the colors of black, white, red and yellow, at the price of $449.95. Kitted with two lenses, in particular the 11-27.5mm f/3.5-5.6 and the 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 VR, this model will cost $699.95. As for its availability, this mirrorless camera will arrive at the world market in June.
