The firmware update (C 1.10, in relation to the previous version C 1.02) for Nikon's leading DLSR, Nikon D810, brings several subtle changes, which mostly have to do with bug fixes.

The bugs that will be fixed with this firmware update are the following: incorrect or absent display information concerning the shutter speed, aperture, ISO sensitivity, and distances when using an optional flash unit; an issue with the brightness of the live view photography display (when adjusting the exposure compensation); audio static for a period of 4 seconds resulting from the use of external HDMI recorders while in the movie live view; a shutter release malfunction experienced by some owners also in the movie live view; recording problems that have to do with the camera's HDR function; a lack of characters or parts of characters in some languages in the Setup Menu; etc.
