Fujifilm put into circulation a firmware upgrade for the Fuji X-E2 mirrorless camera, which resulted in its viewfinder performance reaching the standard established by the X-T1.
What is more, the firmware 2.0 offers a choice of color with focus peaking (in addition to standard white, blue and red come into play), as well as the ability to assign the options Face Detection and EVF/LCD Setting by means of one of the buttons in charge of customizing. Furthermore, a Suppressed Flash option has been introduced, in which the flash does not activate even when the target is badly lit. As a result of updating, the viewfinder now operates at 200Hz, which is to say that a lag now equals only 0.005 seconds.
The new firmware is free to download from the official website of the company Fujifilm, which is where the news was taken from as well.
