Fujifilm introduced certain improvements into its X-Series and covered up a couple of imperfections by announcing firmware updates for its Fuji X-T1, Fuji X100T, and Fuji X-S1, as well as the lenses Fujinon XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 R LM OIS, Fujinon XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS, Fujinon XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR, and Fujinon XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS.
The improvements concerning the Fuji X-T1 and Fuji X100T are relatively minor, and they have to do with fixing some bugs that have occurred so far. The new firmware for the X-T1 brings improved Wi-Fi, improved flash and USB mode functionality, while as for the X100T, the stress is laid on updating the conversion lens setting, the viewfinder display (including the focus peaking display), as well as flash functionality.
As far as the said lenses are concerned, the new firmware versions aimed at them bring optical image stabilization (OIS), which will bring clearer and sharper images, even when certain shakes and vibrations are encountered.
The firmware updates regarding the said cameras and lenses from the Fuji X-Series can be downloaded from the official website of the company Fujifilm.
