After introducing the two new lenses and the Fuji X100T, Fujifilm has strength for new ventures. This time, the stress was on the robust and strong mirrorless camera Fuji X-T1, which gets a special edition in silver.
The silver Fuji X-T1 will offer several characteristics which the new Fuji X100T brought with itself, such as a maximum shutter speed of 1/32,000 seconds when an electronic shutter is used, the Classic Chrome film simulation mode and the natural LV mode, thanks to the exceptional hybrid electronic viewfinder, which shows images the way they are seen with the naked eye. The Fuji X-T1 kept from its predecessor, among other things, a 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor, an EXR II processor, Full HD video at 60 fps, as well as Wi-Fi.
Both versions, the silver and the black, will get new firmware in December, which will bring additional capabilities and changes concerning the camera's functions, as well as interface.
The special silver edition of the Fuji X-T1 (body only) will break into the market in late November at a price of $1499.95. As for the black version of the Fuji X-T1, it will be available in kit with a Fujinon XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens from the end of September and will be priced at $1899.95.
